What we all predicted lol

What a coward, doesn’t she know Jamal knows she’s innocent?

Her playing the victim and blaming the media is pitiful. She did this all herself   It sounds like the investigation uncovered more proof about them being guilty, which led to her resigning.

The league should require Vrabel to turn over his text to Rousini in order to determine if he influenced her reporting regarding AJ Brown and Crosby.  Otherwise the league is complicit in a coverup.

Come on. Teams use media like that all the time.

The most relevant bit of that PFT article was the NY Post gave Vrabel more time than normal to provide evidence he was actually there with a group of friends and the tone of the story would of been different.

Obviously neither Russini or Vrabel has provided credible evidence to back that part of their story up.

You have to assume that's because it doesn't exist and they told the world's dumbest lie because it would be disproven with just a bit of scrutiny ... as it was.

And if the Athletic knew about this and knew that they had time to respond and hadn't provided anything then their original statement was even worse because it was probably a knowing lie by that guy at that point.

I can't see anything actually coming of this whole fiasco. Right now Rusinni has no legal ground to sue for anything but if the league comes after her for being a biased reporter it'll get ugly for the league once they have to expose how many other reporters are compromised.

This is why aside from that ESPN piece  that came out on Friday, it’s been non sports outlets that have come out with the juicy stuff.

That new piece of info (Kraft trying to kill the story) came from In Touch weekly.

Sports “journalism” a lot of it is just “insiders” having good relationships w/ agents , FO, coaches and just schilling for them in exchange for breaking news info.  It’s almost a dead giveaway when I read a tweet that says “Player X is an intriguing option in the free agent market etc”.

I do admit though there are some really good investigative level pieces and those are the real journalists.

Nothing but embarrassment on Vrabel's side.
