Popular Post ctm Posted March 28 Popular Post Report Share Posted March 28 (edited) Borgonzi is in wait-and-see mode for the draft to fill remaining roster holes.  He'll reassess free agents after the draft. Most other teams are doing the same unless they are getting a bargain price from a free agent.  Fortunately for Borgonzi, Jennings, Zietler, and Okereke are all still available at positions of need if the draft doesn't solve those spots. More guys will get released post draft and Borgo will have cap space and leverage with guys desperate for a job. They all pretty much play X, give or take a few plays here and there.  I'd just rather they draft Tate and then draft another/different type of receiver later in the draft. They also have a top 5 draft pick to potentially fill one of those needs. Waiting until next year means likely trying to fill one with a pick more likely to be in the 10-15 range than the top 5 pick they currently hold. I have no idea if they project any of the top edge or wr prospects capable of filling one of those needs, but if they do they'd be negligent if they didn't consider them strongly at #4 regardless of who else they currently have on the roster.
