I mean, I know it was over 25 years ago but even more shocking than Ditka trading his entire draft plus the next years 1st to take Ricky Williams 5 was that the Colts picked Edgerrin at 4 after the top 3 QB’s, which leads me to believe they turned down the Saints offer down. I remember that like it was yesterday. Crazy Face

1982
That win in Cleveland and against a 3rd string QB vs KC cost us so much draft capital for absolutely nothing of a win. Supernope

Taking a RB in the top 5 doesn’t help with any of that and goes against the stated goal AvgJoe

I'd rather us sign Breece Hall and focus on the far bigger needs on defense or elsewhere on offense. reo, Omar, and DCTitan

titansfan
After some quick assesment, my early feel now on this is that the top 3 looks like: 1. Mendoza/Moore 2. Mendoza/Moore 3. Bailey Bailey is the clear likely "riser" (he's already seen as a top 10 guy and has great tape and will likely test well both on/off field). Additonally, Bailey fits most into what Arizona does and what Ossenfort likes (assuming he survives black monday).

It’s just draft media is slow to recognize as opposed to the NFL. Could be Reese as well. I don’t see Bain as a fit.

This is why you can't start rooting for 1-16 5 weeks into the season. There are too many variables at play.

It's crazy how close to posting a winless season and the Titans were this year. A dumb ass RB, the dumb ass Browns, and Mahomes knee had other plans. And btw, speaking of the lines of scrimmage, that's why I mentioned the RG spot in another post that few want to talk about. oldschool, and rns90
