Pollard to the Ravens?

If you think trading away AJ Brown was a bad idea, trading Simmons is far, far worse.  He's a high level established player in his prime. Trading him also likely gets a huge negative reaction from tea

Once the Jets got Brownlee they didn't need Gardener

PK keeps alluding to Diggs being upset if he loses any playing time. Easton also was saying back in August Diggs only signed here to show other teams he was healthy (and play with his cousin) and moving on quickly. Which is weird and I don’t think they would get anything in a trade for him but something worth remembering I suppose.

Am I crazy to think that we should actually be buyers at the deadline? I could see us picking up a couple of discounted distressed assets to get ahead of the much more expensive FA period in a few months.

Seems unlikely

I'd love this but I think TN is too dumb to be that wise

Moving Woods would solve that problem because Winston is going to need more snaps, either as a starter or the 3rd S. Mike Brown going on IR helped in the short term here, but presumably he will be back.

yes. The team needs draft capital and like @AussieTitanFan08 has noted the past few years, less and less blue chip free agents hit the market because the cap is too high. It may normalize but for right now, its more important than ever to build through the draft.

I would think that's more likely but even then I doubt we do much. Titans want to build through the draft. Only way I could see them trying to trade anyone would be to try and gain draft capital to help build the roster but I just don't see anyone that would help increase draft capital that much.

People seem to be expecting some sort of fire sale b/c they're 1-4. I don't see it happening.

How many games does the team win between now and the deadline? Rhetorical question.

If the team wins a few games and is more competitive, then you don't want to cut their legs out from under them and demoralize the locker room.  That's what Borgonzi gets paid to decide.

It all comes down to how much they value 8 more games this season from any of the guys they have decided will not be part of their plans for next year and beyond.

One thing we do know with the copious amount of salary cap space this team has to spend for 2026 they won't be getting any comp picks for guys they let walk this offseason.

This is why I’m not entirely opposed to trade a draft pick for a guy who can still play for multiple years

Outside of extending Simmons and Skronski, there isn’t anyone up (or close to it) for a contract that is worth spending for.
