The Jets are interviewing Packers VP of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan today for their vacant GM position, sources tell NFL on CBS. Sullivan is on to the second round with the Titans and will also interview with the Raiders for their respective GM positions. The Jets requested an interview with Commanders DC Joe Whitt Jr. for their head coaching job, per sources. It’s the first HC interview for Whitt, 46, who came with Dan Quinn from Dallas and has been an integral part of Washington’s turnaround. He’s been involved in every facet of team building for a team that has won 3 Super Bowls in 5 years with a shot at a 4th on tap. The Chiefs have done incredible work in the draft and nailed some key free agents and trades. The assistant GM plays a huge role in all aspects of team building.
