Number9
I was listening to radio and a caller asked which teams are owned by women. The host said, let's not go there. The someone said the Ford daughter inherited the team. The Lions were one of the worse run franchises for years. I won't say it is the woman's fault, it is the fact no woman has grown up wanting to be the QB. More than sex, it's what interest the owner has in really trying to build a winner. The owner(man) of a NYC franchise nixed a trade because of a video game. japan, and BudsOilers 1

Additionally, he has never posted the same racist putdown of anyone but black people. Show where he is calling any three white people the same bullshit name. People like him are a problem because posters don't stand up to his bs. Everything isn't racism, but some things are racist. If I see it hopefully I'm not the first one to rid the site of code racism. BUT, if no-one will stand up against it-I will. You're cool with me and I get where you are coming from. But the idea that no one does racist shit ever is an idea you don't want to perpetuate. Yeah I don't understand why Oilerman was so impassioned about that point. Bud was clearly on the racist side of the fence-- most saw it and called it for what it was. I really don't recall anyone outside of Bud who went that route. It needed to be called out. I feel like using the energy to defend Bud on clearly racist undertones is the wrong decision by Oman. I understand what's he trying to get at, but planting the flag there is puzzling Edited January 8 by titansfan OILERMAN

Of course getting the right QB can change that trajectory in a heart beat as we've seen with the Commanders. ‘It’s not a quick fix, but will be fixed by the 2027 season…’ IsntLifeFunny

Titandan
Shit... I might be in the minority here but kind of wish they gave Ran at least 4 years to prove his worth. That being said, if he's not all in on football, it's the right decision. Switching to Basketball, I remember Phill Jackson was the GM for the NY Knicks and as legendary as his aura was, he was definitely not all in and was a nuisance at the end of the day. On a side note, can we bring in ex-Panther WR, Steve Smith, as a scout or potential GM? I'm definitely an amateur in talent evaluation but his analysis on WR's has been pretty spot on the last couple years. titanruss
2 hours ago, Righteous said: Understood. Getting a QB is also priority. I think the team can do both. If someone is willing to trade a boatload for a QB, then that player maybe good for us also. Teams don’t need a QB and trade down for more picks. That only happens when the team drafting first does not need a QB. The team will make sure to get the QB they want in this draft, first and foremost. If Ward grades out similar to J. Daniels, the team is taking him. Yeah feels like there's pretty much zero way the team trades down if they think Ward/SS could be capable starters. They just fired the GM. There is a stadium coming. They arent exactly preaching patience. I've always said opening day 2027 is the goal for this team to be a Superbowl contender for Amy and she will fire everyone until that happens! OILERMAN
The Titans are super lucky to have landed Chad Brinker. By all accounts the guy is a brilliant football mind and understands all the aspects of team building from analytics, salary and scouting. Amy Adams has found her Jeff Diamond, a better version of him. The best version of this franchise was when Bud was staying in Houston and Diamond was running the team in Nashville. It sounds like AAS could be just turning the keys over to Brinker in terms of running the football side of things 100%. It may have been a little messy on the way to this place but I totally think the franchise is in the best spot it's been in a long maybe, maybe ever. The talking heads are idiots concerning this. airmcnair22, Supernope, TylerRoseFan, and 1 other 2 1
