And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

If Sanders looks like this against Kansas, just imagine him in the NFL

First play I've watched of him.  He went full retard at the end though and pushed the Ref from behind.  Hard pass!  :D  Cam Ward!

He has a 4/1 career TD/INT ratio, including 39/7 in his final year.  It seems like if he was constantly making TO worthy throws, it would have shown on the stat sheet at some point in 5 years.

You would be correct.  It's better for my argument.  And I think simple ball security is less of a red flag and more correctable than intentionally throwing the ball to defenders at a high rate, which indicates problems with decision-making, reading defenses, or accuracy. 7 interceptions out of 454 attempts is excellent, especially considering his style of play often lead to him making difficult throws.

He had 46 fumbles before this past season.

Yeah but the point is - just like Levis - when he's staring down one guy he misses a guy who was nearly wide open. He doesn't ALWAYS do this, but he frequently decides where the ball is going before the play. Usually it's RPO, if you see this then throw that. A small portion of his plays are making other reads post snap, traditional NFL. He does a good job making those RPO reads, and he's accurate af, but where he gets his accolades is improvising (new NFL).

In the NFL, he's going to have to start with reads and transition to scrambling if it's not there. Another worry: just like Levis, he won't give up on a play. Even if he's fucking 30 yards behind the line of scrimmage running for his life he's gonna try to make a play.

There's an argument to be made that he hasn't been punished for a lot of behaviors because he's in the ACC.

I have no idea what you are watching. Everyone agrees Ward has very good to great processing ability and gets through his progressions. There are obvious flaws like turn over worthy throws and other shit but processing isn't one of them.

That's a lot.  But he had only 3 last year, which is great.

That's what most of us are talking about when we say Levis like plays.

You're misunderstanding what I said. I'm not saying he can't. I'm saying often he doesn't. He makes up his mind pre-snap and doesn't come off of the pre-snap read. I know he's got the processing speed and ability just based on how quickly and accurately he diagnoses RPOs and delivers the ball.

Given the time frame for the rebuild is at least 2-3 seasons and this class may not be the best for a QB, I can understand them wanting to stock pile picks and trade back, but at least with as guy like Ward, they would be getting a prospect I don't think the Titans have had in its recent history. Like when was the last QB prospect the Titans took who has, on tape, proof he can cycle through his reads, not panic, and deliver a strike, all from the pocket, lol.

Another to like about Ward is that he's shown significant improvement each year in college just like Daniels did. The dude basically ran the Wing T offense in high school and never threw the ball. Sanders had over 1200 pass attempts in high school. Point being Ward has been playing real QB for 4-5 years and has made strides every year. This isn't an Anthony Richardson scenario or a guy that explodes in his final year of college.

One of us has to change their stance on Ward. I'm having a problem with us agreeing.  It feels... unnatural.
