Start Rudolph Thread

We are a few weeks behind in starting this thread, but here we go.

Levis is garbage. The team would be at worst 3-1 with Rudolph. They can't put him back as the starter after the bye week. There's much to discuss with how truly terrible Levis has been. It's at the least historic for the franchise in terms of turnovers, which is saying a lot seeing as Moon was a disaster in that realm.

Rudolph is the future for this year. He isn't a great QB. He isn't Tannehill in 19. What he is though is not a constant net negative.

This is it right here.

Whoever the QB ends up being the rest of the way this team isn't going to beat the likes of the Bills/Lions/Vikings/Texans unless they get more efficient running the ball and get a lot more from the p

I want to see Rudolph after two weeks of practice with starter reps and the offense tailored to him. No reason he can't run the offense like Browning did for the Bengals last year.   Callaha

It sounds like Levis will get the start vs the Colts but the pressure is only growing every week, even if Rudolph didn't look great

I don't think it'll matter in the end anyway because Levis will get injured again anyway and Rudolph will have his chance.  The guy just stupidly puts himself into harms way.  It's like he's begging for injures the way he just doesn't protect his body.  He's truly special in that way.  Everybody else at least avoid those types of plays and makes business decisons.

I'm sure BC is reading this board, lol. On top of that, the guy who has spent the last 10 years of his life coaching NFL QBs on an intimate level spending hours per week in close proximity of each needs the advice of this board on how to proceed.

While the dude does seem to be made out of cheap plastic idk if you can blame him for the play he got hurt on. That was just about what was required to get the first.

I disagree

He was totally reckless on that play. He dove and stretched out and landed right on his throwing shoulder.

You have to be way more self aware and protective of your body.

He's completely out of control in terms of trying to avoid injury.

QBs know not land on their throwing shoulder.

This sounds simple on paper. Now make sure you dont do it in the moment. He didnt dive intentionally onto the shoulder. Shit happens. If he didnt get hurt there no1 would be bitching about that play.

Without puting the ball into his left hand and leaving it very vulnerable, which he would have got shit for even if it didnt go wrong. What do you want him to do diffrently here?

He doesnt have enough air to twist his body around.

If the answear is dont try for the first ok, though i think he would get shit for that as well. Ohhhh you only put your body on the line when it doesnt matter....

If he ran just shy of the marker no smart fan would care. The smart QBs know how to go the ground. You reserve that sort of play for scoring TDs or in late game situations. He's legitimately football stupid. Locker 2.0
