What does that have to do with anything I said. Its clear Henry was in the 2nd tier of RBs to sign league wide. There is no shame in that, he is 30 years old and has a ton of wear and tear.

Sure, but that's different than implying that he was an after-thought with no market. He went to a contender and for more money than expected. It's the framing I object to because things for Henry are always framed to look worse than they are around here. Danielle Hunter was the top rusher in FA and he's still out there while others have signed. Whether you sign day 1 or 2 and who signs before you doesn't necessarily mean that much. What the team pays you and your expected role mean more.

Yeah it's wild. 8-10 mil would have been a top 10 cash/cap hit for a starter last year... possibly this year.

We've seen this story before. They played so hard on the other side that they can't even enjoy the player, see production, or understand his value. He's 30, has 2200 touches and getting highly paid... again.

It's just a doubling down until they are finally right and can emotionally claim victory.

It's nuts. How do you allow yourself to become so polarized against the best player of an era for your team?

We still don't know the structure of the deal but who cares? He didn't get that much so back to my original point, acting like he was unexpectedly signed or had a huge market are both false. 30 year old RB's with word class production usually get signed. You and others are acting like Henry was signed to a Jacobs/Barkely level deal. He wasn't. Move on.

Not only that but keeping Henry might have prevented the Ravens from winning the SB. That KC game was close, if they had Henry, they wouldn't have put so much on Lamar's arm. Not receiving a fifth round pick is absolutely worth keeping them from winning a SB with one of our best players in history.

People can and will hate on this but it's an interesting line you've taken right here.

I said before the game that the way the Ravens lose was to get down 2 possessions and then refuse to run their offense through the running game. Having Henry would have given Harbaugh the proper excuse to not put all of the weight on Lamar. Even the idiots around here said after I mentioned it after the game that Lamar is the highest paid QB as if that is an excuse to do something that obviously doesn't work.

Henry on that Ravens team and yeah I seriously doubt they decide fuck it let's try Jackson out as a pocket QB for the first time all year. Harbaugh completely blew that game...funny enough for the same reason I said they would and the dullards defended it afterwards.

It's what happens when a certain group think they're smarter than everyone else and it blows up in their faces. They can't be wrong, everyone is just seeing it wrong. LOOK AT MY NUMBERS!!!!

Most of them are oiler fans.

It hurts them having to see DH beating or destroying Earl in yards, YPR, rec yards, Rec TDs, YPC, probably more wins, and nearly 1/3 of the fumbles....

The Ravens don't win that game with DH either.....He's been a complete non-factor in his last 3 playoff games and certainly isn't the same player now that he was then.

Bottom line is that if you want to win against good defenses in the playoffs, you have to be able to pass the ball and Baltimore really can't when they aren't doing it from play action/playing with a lead.

Yeah, I don't get why it's so hard for people to admit that casual fans totally overrated Henry, but a lot of the "smartest" posters here overrated Tannehill and actually took joy in hating on Henry. I mean we have Bud saying it'd be great if Henry made the HOF and went in as a Raven. That's retarded

I thought that bum got cut.  He is the most boring RB that I’ve seen .  I don’t remember Sankey though.

I only remember watching his highlights and thinking they were the most bland highlights i'd ever seen.

He says that because he's a fan of which ever team plays the Titans.  So of course he'd want Henry to go in as a Raven.

Wrong.  I said it would be funny.  And it would be.  Not that he has a great shot at making the HOF unless he can string together 2 or 3 more good years....
