Why does 27 let up? He may not have stopped him but he was closing and could have at least caused him to be tackled into the endzone.

He should have tried by Pierce drags people 2 to 3 yards after contact often, and at one point in that game Pierce flung a defender around to release him in the air after a reception to gain 5 to 7 yards more, so maybe the defender did not even want to try.

Just a reminder, Mike Sando surveyed NFL execs who had the Colts ranked as the 5th best team in the NFL before this season   LOL

I haven't read through this thread so forgive me if this has been said.   The Jags are 6-30 in the last 36 games. 4 of those 6 wins have been against the Colts.

Some @scine09 analysis on the Colts sched. Short week after a tough loss to the Titans. Then they play a Jags team that shut them out already this year. After that they play the Titans in Nashville coming off a BYE.

They play the games for a reason, but that doesn’t build confidence.

Denver's pretty beat up though and isn't playing well either.  Hopefully they finally play a good game this week.

Last year the Titans had more wins over teams with winning records than any other team in NFL history…including several games where nobody gave the Titans a chance.

While it’s unlikely that they’ll duplicate that success this year, we definitely know they’re not intimidated by supposedly superior teams.

I heard on the Bill Simmons podcast this morning that Fan Duel still has the Colts as the faves to win the AFC South....lol

As if the Titans are much better. Outside of the Texans any team could still win the division as teams are still figuring things out. Indy gets their OL figured out and actually protect Ryan they could certainly win it.
