I agree. It is better to trade AJB at peak value vs letting him walk next year and get maybe a 3rd comp in 2024.   I definitely didn't see this coming, but we got solid value. We are at the

I 100% totally defend Brown for getting as much money as he can. Good for him, fuck the greedy owners and league   But don't lie and pretend that's not what it's about. He's also not going t

TD tried to take AJ's side and ended up looking like a fucking idiot when the whole story came out. This all happened because AJ conducts his business like a child. The Titans wanted him back and were

I don’t like it but I get it. That’s a lot of money to pay a guy who admitted he contemplated suicide. I know thats a tough topic & he’s a good kid but it’s reality. He’s injured a lot. That’s alot of money ge got & Burks is a very good prospect.

Philly fans and media may drive him to really do it!

They had to have known it was coming. AJ was easily one of the most beloved Titans up there with Henry and Byard.

Easily the best wideout on the team in two decades and arguably top 5 in the league.  On a team consistently starved of even average wide receivers.   Innumerable highlights in just a few seasons.   Fan favorite.  Bit of a diva?  Sure, but all star wideouts are.   Made bum-ass Tannehill look better than he was to the point the franchise crippled itself to pay for mediocrity.   Now he’s gone.  For essentially another body we hope to be even 75% as good as he is and a 3rd rounder.

I can’t have Jrobs back on this.  Even if you’re ok with the trade for it being what it is, this lies on the Tannehill and Julio Jones deals that made AJB’s path out of here a reality.  So, in conclusion - fuck Ryan Tannehill.

I was actually thinking earlier about if they would have still made this move had they never traded for Julio. Would've had our 2nd plus a little bit more cash on hand to make up for what was apparently a $5 million/year gap with AJ (if our offer was really $20mill per year).

Top 5 in the league. Love AJ but are you high?

Absolutely.  The Jones deal made the Tannehill money fucked this year and both no doubt contributed to this scenario.  Butterfly effect it to death, but it’s a straight line and ~5 million a year with the cap going up majorly soon would’ve been a nothing burger if we had the room to operate.

5M per year is 3-5 veteran players in a tight cap environment.
