Popular Post abenjami
Trump is going to win reelection because the Dems are too stupid. @chef pointed out that he wasn't sure if "too stupid" is the right phrase and I agree. As he pointed out, 2 hours ago, chef said: Not sure if too stupid is the right phrase, but they do miss the big picture and get caught up in their own minutiae, like now they think they're on the Titanic and agree it's sinking, but in the process of trying to evacuate ship they're arguing over who should hold the life boat assignment clipboard, and whether the format should be in 123 or ABC or perhaps with subsections for different groups, and if they should take their cell phones with them as a function of weight affecting lifeboats vs potential damage to the ocean environment if left to sink. Sometimes they just can't get out of their own way, unable to let go of a well-intentioned thought that although perhaps important gets dwarfed in scale next to the big pic. Patrick Leahy said it best: "You get fifteen democrats in a room, and you get twenty opinions." This is the gist of why I said what I said. The Dems just don't get it. Look at the candidates they are putting forth. For Christ's sake, one would think they learned a hard lesson last election but apparently not. It's real simple. They almost won with Hillary, a terrible candidate. Trump was that bad of a candidate himself and he barely squeaked out the win. Now he's a President with a terrible approval rating, surrounded by scandals, that people are dying to remove from office. Literally all they need to do is run someone the people in swing states don't hate. But instead, we're apparently stuck with Burnout Bernie, unlikable Warren, Harris (a black woman), and a former VP who declined to run last time. These people couldn't get enough momentum to beat Hillary, and she lost to Trump. They aren't going to win this election either, they'll just cause more vote splitting. For Christ sake, Warren is talking about trying to get rid of the electoral college (LOL). Again, it's real simple. Unify together behind a single candidate, who should be a white male (to remove racism/sexism from influencing votes). I completely agree. Look at how the Republicans recovered and learned from 8 years of Obama. They obviously learned their lesson and quickly solidified around a reasonable, moderate candidate that united the party and reached across to swing voters... Dems should definitely look to copy that model. 'Nator, titansfb, ChesterCopperpot1, and 4 others 5
TitansFan23
Many of the Dems are trying to push the Democratic Party to the far left, some the extreme far left. It’s like they have no comprehension of middle ground whatsoever. Rolltide, and GOAT9

Y'all letting your fear of Trump get to you. This type of inaction and laissez faire attitude is partially what caused them to lose the last election. Anything short of a well executed master plan is a failure in some regard. Midterms and primaries are a lot more useful when voters are choosing between good candidates instead of picking the lesser of multiple evils. abenjami
Ask yourselves this.... Do you really believe Bernie has any legitimate shot to win the presidential election? IMO, the answer is an obvious and resounding NO. So what should the Dems do? Tell Bernie to sit the fuck down and get behind someone else to make his supporters more useful. Now ask yourselves this... Do you really believe Warren has any legitimate shot to win the presidential election? IMO, it's the same answer. So tell her to sit the fuck down and get in line behind someone else. Rogue, oldschool, Rolltide, and 1 other 3
