  1. Past hour
  2. He's one of the clunkiest looking CBs I've ever seen. Very unnatural ball and cover skills. He seems like he can maul the WR, and not much else.
  3. But why would you do that for a projected 4th round run stuffer?
  4. This offense needs speed not sure spending money on Boyd is the best use of cap room.
  5. Better or not it makes no sense for the team unless it were rebranding back to the Oiler name, which makes no sense for the team in Tennessee. And that's flaming thumbtack.
  6. I figured he would be a target once they didn’t take a WR that can contribute to the offense in the draft.
  7. The Oilers logo is way better than the flaming bowling ball and always has been. Bud was a dumbass for ever agreeing to the logo/name change.
  8. Probably right about the far right one. I'm with you it's to busy. Calm it down with the stars and stripes. And I don't want them to be the oilers again it's stupid. I'm not super attached to the current logo but I don't dislike it either. Tbh the only thing I dislike about the current uniforms is the red alternate color that everyone wears for the gloves and shit which matches nothing but the stars on the fucking logo.
  9. I love the color scheme and design, but there are way too many TN 3 star spots in that design. You don't need it on the socks, thighs, and shoulders. Just the thighs would be enough. Also, leave the logo the fuck alone. Idgaf if some people hate the shit out of it, it's been the logo now for a quarter century. And as much as Titans-haters would love to see the team rebrand back to the Oilers, this is not a state known for crude oil production. Texas is. It doesn't make any sense to do that. And I don't want to hear shit about the lack of lakes in Los Angeles. Gfy with that noise. The color scheme and design of the Oilers uniforms are great so it's a fine compromise to bring that back. I'd be all for that, but why can't people be happy with the fact that the Oilers name and brand is still owned by the original franchise and let it rest in peace? I think maybe you're getting distracted by the alternate uniform. That one does remind of the Patriots, but the rest of them are definitely Oilers.
  10. Idk why but this screams Patriots to me. Outside the logo obviously. To many stripes.
  11. Not endorsing this particular look but it would be easy to do something like this
  12. Along with him since the 30 visit was largely derailed by the arrest stuff a day earlier......Very clear they were doing due diligence because they loved the player/tape.
  13. The big name change push was all rushed to appease the disastrous relocation where the combo of McClure and Pepper Rodgers completely fucked it up. That led to the Tennessee folks wanting their own name/brand. Bud should never have caved to it. That all said., the love of the old throwbacks and the vast majority saying those for the Oilers, Seahawks, and Eagles are better than the new ones poises a great opportunity to rebrand the team/uni's to the classic look. A massive double fuck you to the Texans, University of Houston, etc.
  14. Today
  15. Everyone should attend a Mecum or Barrett-Jackson auction at least once even if you aren't a car lover.
  16. It’s crazy because that was so innovative in 1999/2000
  17. I don't see a need to pick either/or. It all seemed fairly shit to me, scheme and talent combined. Especially in the secondary. We are vastly improved there now. And if Sweat works out the way I hope he does we're vastly improved there too. The more I've learned about him the more amped I am to see what he and Simmons do together. I'm just happy we're going to be a more of an attacking defense again. I want to see our defense destroy plans, hopes, & dreams. Be nasty and put as much hurt on people as the Nanny Football League will allow. It's weird because Vrabel was supposed to be the defensive head coach but were we ever really that good on defense while he was here? What was so special about his "diamond front"? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. Jersey Mike's is actually a take off of the old NE mom and pop shops where they sliced the meat fresh each time; in New England they didn't even call them subs, they were Grinders. Subway was founded in CT, but for the longest time had very few outlets there because they couldn't compete with the mom and pop shops. We never went to Subway as kids in CT.
  19. I've never really cared for the shoulder pad area being a totally different color for the rest of the uniform. That's the biggest issue for me.
