Is there a CB in this year's draft worthy of a top 5 pick? CB is right up there with WR and Edge as a top need at this point. If the top Edge and top WR is gone when we pick, the top CB is definitely a possibility. Or........is there a CB that grades higher than the top Edge or top WR. Shit.......they got all the bases covered.

I would never spend a top 5 pick on a cb. There is jist to much volatility in them and thier peak tends to be very short. An elite edge can get you 12+ sacks for 10-15 years. An elite cb likely gives you 2-4 years at peak and 6 years as a good cb. The cbs that are elite long term are very few and far between. They also dont make the same impact in the run game.

@ctmthe Titans did not acquire the Jets 6th round pick as part of the Brownlee trade the Jets had already traded that pick away to the Jags.   The Titans acquired the Ravens 6th round pick a

if the team struggles now and misses the playoffs this could look bad

Jon Robinson drafted 23 players from 2020-2022. Chig Okonkwo is the lone player that remains. Just in case people need a reminder why this team is in the shape it is in

I was just coming to say (out of a level of disgust) that I kinda hate this team actually

There's little to like about it, but in some ways it's actually a blessing for the longer term to be starting pretty much from scratch because you're not married to handfuls of the previous regime's mid/mediocre mistakes.

Players that are good enough to make you competitive enough to keep you in purgatory, but aren't good enough to get make you truly competitive.

Borgonzi's first draft has yielded a franchise QB to build around, at least 2 or 3 receivers for the QB to grow with, an edge that has shown occassional potential, a safety who may make bigger splashes as this season progresses and winds down, and maybe even a corner and/or Olineman who could at least turn into solid depth over time.

We hate watching them right now, but who knows how we'll feel by weeks 15-17.

Can we pick swap this 5th for a 6th and someone else's young expiring player that we want to re-sign? We're going to struggle to find players to use our cap space on in the open market this offseason.

Brownlee made a game sealing play for the Jets.  McCreary will help the Rams, book it.

And how are either of those things related to the Titans future ability to compete for a championship 2-3 years from now?

Read it and be one with it. Graver as a podcast bro runs laps around credentialed Titans media

Key and Okonkwo are the next two to watch as there has been more than enough reports stating neither is part of the long term plans here.

Its fucking hilarious watching you guys bitch about moving JAGS like McCreary. Dude doesn't fit Borgonzi's ideal DB profile, he's been pedestrian since he was drafted, and they had no intention of resigning him. He is exactly the sort of player you move at the deadline.

Instead most of you are like this clown. Rising star and best secondary player to describe Brownless and McCreary. Thank goodness the Titans go unnoticed Nationally. If Titans media had more pub, it would be embarassing.

Who is this guy? This hyperbolic fan speak bs at its finest. I really like McCreary but hooker is easily the best guy in the secondary(outside the last 4-5 weeks). And brownlee was a refreshingly solid player for his draft spot but rising star is a complete joke.

Gotta love the group think from the bottom 5... Watch the play again. Flacco makes a perfect pass low and way. The WR dropped it. But to Titans fans Brownlee who did have good coverage made a game saving play.
