If this guy interviews for the job and Borgonzi feels he has the capability to handle the pressure of it, I'm good with it. They can find coordinators. What they won't find is a coach more invested in Cam's success than this guy.

Other than the Ward connection there's no reason to expect they'd even give him a look, but Borgonzi is pretty familiar with him so who knows what all he knows/thinks about him?

 

Also, beyond Ward, Morris also coached Baker Mayfield while he was at Texas Tech and we all know about Mahomes. So Morris has an actual resumé with some star QBs, as opposed to Callahan where he was just around big name QBs. Morris had a had in developing all of them.

 

Morris is and has been both a head coach and a play-calling OC, albeit at a lesser level. But everybody starts somewhere.
