I do wonder if Freeman could be coaxed to leave Notre Dame. They’ve essentially reached their ceiling the past few years and until Notre Dame actually joins a conference, they’ll continue to lose support from the committee. 
 

That + Freeman having six kids, who he would get more time to spend with as an NFL head coach, compared to being a head coach in college (due to year round recruiting), makes me think maybe this would be more possible than originally thought.

He’s the “enemy” since he coaches ND, but I think he would be a home run hire. Exceptional leader who runs a good program and surrounds himself with good coordinators. He’s very hands off with the offense and focuses more defensively.

Miami and Notre Dame's record, strength of schedule and strength of victory were very, very close in the race for the last at large spot.  The tie-breaker in that situation is supposed to be head-to-head.  Miami beat ND.  The committee got it right.

Im so happy I dont follow CFB, after hearing all the wacky reasoning the committee used for selecting the playoff teams I would be annoyed even if I Wasn't a fan of the teams involved. 

 

The vandy has no significant win, Mississippi not getting in because their coach left(this should have to wait till after the playoffs), the giant stupid meeting to try and figure out how many slots each conference deserves regardless of record. 

 

Im sure there is more weirdness but thats all iv heard when they bring up college on the podcasts I listen to for the titans.

Harbaugh and Tomlin could both take a year off. If Indy moves off of Shane Steichen he should be strongly considered.

She really is the worst National reporter and gets a huge pass for an obvious reason. Her reporting during the Vrabel hiring was so hilarious because she couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that AAS fed her a PR lie.
