Long shot hes black balled but Jon gruden would have been the best candidate to get Cam Ward. He also raved about him in pre draft interviews he was the best QB for Ward who would have loved coaching him.

We better hope Borgonzi can overcome the mass incompetence of this organization.  They really watched the QBs struggle all season long last year in Callahan's offense, and thought it would be a good idea for him to develop the #1 overall pick...

I'm betting that Strunk didn't want to be paying 4 dead contracts at the time...

Completely over his head. Worst coach in Titans history.

Ed Biles, Hugh Campbell, and Chuck Studley might have been worse..

I know this isn't a popular take but I don't think Brady has really done anything crazy in Buffalo. Their EPA was the same with Dorsey last time I looked at it. All he really did was become more run heavy.

Also something to be said about similarity to Callahan of all his successes being with some of the best quarterbacks of all time (Brees, Burrow, Allen) and his complete failure being with Carolina like Cally with Manning, Stafford, and Burrow

Lomas speaking the truth here. The staggered firing shit many are focused on is just noise.

This is kind of a lazy take in the tweet.  It doesn't matter that a year of development in an offense was wasted with this dumb 6 game Callahan 'last-shot?'

Not that I feel like defending her too much but whomever picked and vetted out Callahan as being the best candidate needs to take some heat too.  And that wasn’t AAS.

It starts when people stop posting bs about he was the best available candidate. I have been saying I see a poor coach for over a year.  The ranking of HC's had him last of returning 2024 coaches.

The best available candidate wouldn't apply here.

Ultimately it seemed like Callahan was making the same mistakes what Whisenhunt made in that he wasn’t coaching to the players but to a system.  Which is the opposite of what Callahan said he was going to do.

In all likelihood, he's simply not competent enough to tailor the offense to his players even if he wanted to
