I’m going to also assume Papa Callahan and Holz are gone. Fuchs becomes the OLine coach in that case. But who is OC? Is it going to be McCoy? Or do they promote Hardegree? It looks almost like they did it now because of that. Had they waited until the bye week, which is two weeks after the Patriots game, they could’ve spun it that it had absolutely nothing to do with the Patriots game since they would have also played the Colts and Chargers. Of course there’s also another side in that AAS had made up her mind and it would have been a bit weird firing a coach in the unlikely event that they actually started winning games. So in that sense they had to do it when they did just because she’d already made up her mind. I’m actually a bit surprised it didn’t happen after the Houston game. Unless they were concerned about the optics of firing him after the Houston game, making it look reactionary. I would assume it would have happened last week had they not come back to win. Rookie QB coming in, and you needed someone you were 10000% confident in from day one. Not celebrating it though… feels like putting a bandaid on a broken leg. Sell the team, AAS.
