Alcibiades Posted October 1, 2025 Report Share Posted October 1, 2025 (edited) Is it possible we are being too hard on the OL? I mean Latham went down in the first game. He was a key part of our OL. The other guys are learning to work together still. We get killed on stunts, and our QB holds the ball too long. I'm NOT saying they are playing well, but it's the one position where everyone has to not only do their job, but know the job of the guys' next to them. That always takes time. We have a new LT, and a backup RT (Backup of a backup at this point??). None of that excuses the one on one failures, of course, but OL only has to fail on a few plays a game to look REALLY bad. Yes it was half a decade ago and those guys he drafted were supposed to be the veteran core of this team. He's the reason we don't have one. You can't pretend that doesn't matter.
