The decision to not fire Callahan is only good insofar as it suggests that the front office understands what the larger problems are. Now can they address them is the bigger question.

If we cut Sneed, he will rebound with another team and be a solid starter. That's our role in personnel moves.

We dont need the cap space if we are a draft and retain franchise. There's no reason to cut anyone we could get any draft value from.

Totally agree. There are certainly outliers like when Aqib Talib and Darrelle Revis were amazing on their second and third contracts. But generally Jalen Ramsey is the more likely outcome for probowl cornerbacks who switch teams a bunch.

 

I also think generally trading pick and signing a guy to a large contract should be strictly reserved for elite talents like AJ Brown or Micah Parsons. Doing that for Snead is just predictably dumb.

After second watch sneed played decent aside form that long pass play. I would not trade him… as much as I shit on him, he’s been ok. The biggest issue has been safety play. Hooker has been terrible

He’ll get axed after the year .  But we have to figure out how to build.  I think Borgonzi has the right idea but going in the cheap bin especially in the front seven area wasn’t really going to end well.

 

I really wonder about our scouts as well .  Some of them have been around for a lot of these awful picks.

Maybe this is a major league like situation but with losses. He has to give up part of his job each week(not take of clothes thankfully) they lose till he doesnt do anything and they fire him.

I was fired up initially. It’s easy to criticize now but at the time the compensation seemed great. The ‘24 draft was considered much better & we only gave up a 3 in the ‘25. But the second camp started & he literally didn’t practice I had a terrible feeling. The organization was putting stuff out like “Oh L’Jarius has his routine, he knows how to take care of his body”.  Then you start hearing about his knee, etc. The guy was almost like a mystery. Never made a comment, played 3 games & was absolutely spit roasted then disappeared & had blood  plasma spinning or whatever. At the end of the day I think he’s toast & he’s a miserable fuck who doesn’t want to be here. 
 

They keep harping on culture change & while I think that’s a bit overdone if there’s a guy to start with it’s this shit heel…….

His comments post game were so cringe.  He comes off like hes just spitting lies and collecting a paycheck. Someone who should be a leader looks to be a terrible example to young players.

Just hired after the 2025 draft or before that?  Ill probably wait till after 2026 to  judge it .

After the 2025 draft yeah. I'd expect more changes next offseason too.
