Maybe we're being too harsh. Sometimes the wheels of democracy turn slowly. Maybe there was an issue with the voting machines. We just don't know.

I have racked my brain and cannot remember anything resembling that situation in any football game I've ever seen; pros, college, or even high school.

This might be worse than the catch rule thing in week one.

 

He basically whiffed on an easy yes/no question:  Do we go for it on fourth down?  Got like over a minute to decide and still came up with the wrong answer in the dumbest possible way.

It’s obvious at this point that Taylor did the heavy lifting there in CIN and Callahan was just along for the ride.

 

I mean if you call that run on 3rd down.  Almost a majority of NFL coaches have made the decision to go for it on 4th down and have plays that they want to run.  He ‘s still having trouble deciding on whether or not to go for it.  That’s how absurd that scenario was.

 

Those type of decisions are why he’s the head coach and why he gets paid to make the call.  If he can t even get to the simple part of the problem, then he’s probably not cut out to be the coach.

 

If he has to rely on others to make the decision and has to blame them , that’s all I need to know.

Who is she going to sell to? We are building a new stadium. We are stuck with Amy. 

 

We need to focus on the underlings, like the head coach and GM.

Don't expect her to. She hasn't proven to be any better than the trash they keep hiring

We have a bad coach, but we have a franchise QB and a solid draft class. This team is going to be competitive at some point. It didn't matter what we put out there with Locker, Mariota, or Levis. There was a clear ceiling. 

 

Cam is legit. This team needs more talent, but if they keep losing, they're gonna be in position for some playmakers. The cap is in a great position too. 

I tend to agree with you.  I'm less bothered by yesterday's loss than I normally am after losses because of the QB position.  QB is infinitely more important than the head coach.  Brinker and Borgonzi are not dummies.  They'll get it figured out.  They have the QB.  Now it's a question of putting the pieces around him.  And if they end up picking high?  Well there's a lot of QBs supposedly coming out this year.  They can trade the pick to the highest bidder.
