Cam is adjusting protection, manipulating the pocket and getting the ball put at various angles and putting it on the money and grown men fans are crying because he threw the ball too hard for profess

The good news is Cam looks legit. He needs a better supporting cast for sure.    Once Cam Ward has some more experience and better surrounding talent the sky is the limit.    Havin

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

So silver lining is that we faced our toughest pass rush of the season and our O line has time to gel in the coming weeks.

The plan wasn't to win the super bowl this year. As long as Cam shows flashes of promise the rest of the season, we still good.

The only thing I can feel good about right now is Cam and even that has a glass ceiling called the receiving corps.

I'll start with the very basic fact that we only lost the game by 8 points in a game we were expected to lose to feel good about. The fact that in spite of the controversy over Callahan not challenging the Ayomanor catch... it would have been ruled a catch to feel good about it. The Helm catch that was falsely ruled incomplete. The total ass licking job the refs performed yesterday missing so many penalties on the Broncos is an odd one, but they can't all do such a horrible job, can they? Maybe something else to be hopeful about?

Callahan talked about needing to get better. At the very least he gets that he needs to get better. I don't think he can't. I'm not at that place (yet). I can feel good about that.

And I'm already looking toward the Rams and the fact they'll be back home for it. I feel good about that.

Of course. And in the off season, lets pass on playmakers and offensive stars and draft more offensive linemen to fix the problems not solved by wasting picks on prior linemen. This team has no speed and no great targets for theQB. And its boring as hell.

you keep saying this but the line was 8.5 and the Titans lost by 8. There is no morale victory because the Titans lost a one score game to the Broncos.

That was the betting line, but it seemed like leading up to the game people expected the Titans to be completely blown off the field. Think Broncos 41 Titans 7.

But don't let that fool you. I'm not calling it a moral victory... nothing about a game in which you have as many penalty yards as offensive yards should feel like a victory. I'm just talking up the things that I can feel good about in thinking that the shit that went down in this game could potentially be in the running for the worst we'll see the rest of the year instead of it being a baseline we should expect week in/week out.

At least I sure as hell hope it's not a baseline.

Taking the play clock to 1 takes away the offense's advantage of knowing the snap count. The DL gets a great jump off the ball because they know you have to snap it.

I wonder if things continue to be a mess with getting plays in and making in-game decisions, Borgo has to tell Callahan to give up the play calling duties and just focus on being the head coach.
