The only thing that matters today is that Cam looked legit in a brutal environment with no help from his skill players on many good passes...

 

He was (mostly) seeing the field well, getting through his reads quickly, and throwing darts all over the field.

The window he had to fit that into was well beyond reasonable for a rookie, or any, QB.

We got something!  Rookie held up, didn't get frustrated until the end.  Ball started coming out too hot.  The big plus, he played okay.  Bonzi will get him a WR.

Anyone thinking Ward was throwing the ball too hard has either forgotten the Steve McNair days or wasn't alive then.  And any GB receiver who caught passes from Favre would laugh at your ass.
