Said he was the best tackler in the draft and would have been the #1 S and maybe the Ravens pick w/out the injury. Used the word elite to describe Winston. We might have gotten a steal at 82 there. Florida had him in motion constantly and he never got jammed at the line. They mentioned he was great at running deep over routes. They barely talked about Ayomanor. They mentioned either he should have went day 2 or was rated in the 40s. Starkiller Posted April 28, 2025 Report Share Posted April 28, 2025 The coverage of Dike I heard before the draft largely compared him to Rickey Pearsall as he played the same role in Florida’s offense. Not as an equal but kind of a poor man’s Pearsall. I don’t think I heard any suggestions that he would be drafted at the start of round 4 but there were people who spoke highly of him. Royals was universally ranked ahead of him so I don’t know why they liked Dike over Royals. But hopefully we picked the right guy.
