Face
Is SS really just a meh athlete? It friggin sucks if so. I keep thinking how amazing it would be if he had Sr’s juice. Well, nobody has Deion’s juice. But he’d be a way better prospect if he had close to it. Mythos27

So in the league he'll be below average
Popular Post socaltitan
I feel like Sanders draft profile reads like a future bust Average arm Average athlete Takes too many sacks Questionable character/intangibles Pretty hard to get away with being an average athlete with an average arm these days unless you're super elite at everything else like a Brees was. I would be terrified selecting him with a top 5 pick having to forecast forward how he will deal with the added athleticism of NFL level pass rushers. Cause he’d really make an interesting prospect if he had elite speed/lateral agility like Pop. Off the top of my head I can’t think of a prior QB prospect with truly elite short/intermediate accuracy along with game breaking legs & athleticism. Oh well. Starkiller
One possibly negative thing about Ward is that if you watch him he’s almost entirely lined up in shotgun. It’s seemingly rare to see him lined up under center. They presumably will have to do a lot of work there. Also, he has a lot of fumbles. Maybe his hands are small, maybe it’s something else, but it’s an issue. None of this changes my mind that he’s the obvious pick. I never thought Levis was dumb/slow, but I definitely do now. There are simply no set standards, and to the extent there are, there are huge exceptions. I think Lamar Jackson is one of the real-world dumbest QBs ever, and he's about to win his second straight MVP. Why do you think Lamar Jackson is so dumb? Nash
Actually it would be his 3rd MVP .. but I’m picking the Ravens to win it all this year

Luckily, Callahan’s offense with Burrow was very shotgun heavy for years. And yeah - fumbles, not interceptions, are the single biggest issue with Ward. Whether that’s coachable or not, I’m not sure. Sure, and it’s less of a negative than in the past, but I’m going to assume they want him to be under center sometimes. I’m OK if not…
9 Nines
Mahomes (9.25") and Joe Burrow (9.0") have small hands. Cam Ward is supposedly 9.25 " NFL average is 9.7" Edited January 7 by 9 Nines Supernope

Spread formations and short passes out of shotgun.
