That isnt what we need. We have a relatively good secondary even with injuries all over the place. The problem with the defense is absolutely no pass rush outside when simmons goes off. But everyone is saying cb is his best position, outside one dude thay wants to make him a fs. Iv only really watched. Tet, Burden, carter, Pearce, Graham to this point. He clearly has the physical attributes necessary to play in the NFL but he isn’t showing any ability to run an NFL offense. Colorado’s offense is predicated on spreading teams out and overwhelmingly throwing short, high percentage passes and when it’s not there or the pocket breaks down he just runs for it. He throws deeper occasionally, especially when the pocket breaks down and he’s on the move, but he’s way less reliable. Pocket presence is a little hard to judge. He’s pretty instinctive about when to take off but he also takes a lot of sacks. Some of that may be his terrible OLine but that’s what makes it hard to judge. A few Levisesque hero ball plays, too, but that comes with the territory. As he has the physical attributes necessary to play he could be developed, but I wouldn’t take that risk. He could be Lamar Jackson some day but I’m way more confident in Ward as a passer. Supercollider Posted January 6, 2025 Report Share Posted January 6, 2025 Ran Carthon has delivered us the #1 pick. He also got us Callahan. Clearly Amy is happy spending money on our destruction. Sanders would be perfect behind the best O line in football, a great backfield and pro bowl receivers. Unfortunately we don't have any of those. Our best chance for a strong team going forward is for Amy to realize it's time to sell. Fire Ran, fire Callahan and trade Levi's for a washing machine. In a few years we open our new stadium.
