This is about the overall trend line of the team. The team wasn't improving.  It peaked after the 2019 season.

 

Not to mention that since his extension it became clear that Farley and Radunz didn't come close to meeting expectations.

There were still a lot of questions to be answered before the season. Jrob was talking about Farley as a key secondary piece. Radunz was competing for starting RT. Right now we see a full picture of the lack of talent on this roster.

I honestly don't have a great explanation for why you fire him right now other than she was pissed about the AJ Brown trade all along and this game was basically humiliating to her. She was just mad and had to fire him right now. Fans were flipping her off at the stadium, right? If not for the Russell Wilson trade, this would be the worst trade in a long time.

Why?  It is not like you need a GM this time of the year.  I still think this is 100% tied to the draft picks, trading Brown, and blowing massive money on Dupree with no return.  Dupree deal cost them AJ.  And I don't think she wants JRob losing Simmons.  What JRob did at LT since week two is a joke.  What he did at OT last was also a joke and that brings up the Conklin screw up that lead to Panda and the current OT issue.  That alone is a firable offense.  Daley is terrible and you gave up a 5 for him.  It is unbelievable.  You pay Jamarco and got nada.  You drafted a LT and won't give him a shot and I think when Miami decided to sign Fisher I think that was the last straw after Philly.  Daley, Dupree and AJB performances all hit her at once. 

 

I love that she did it.  Why?  It was unexpected by everyone and it sends the message that she won't tolerate just good enough.  She gave him an extension and when she sensed a problem she said I don't care about the money.  Do you know what kind of message that says to every GM and HC that will deal with her down the road?  Power move.  She is not screwing around like her Dad did.  I also think she knows Cowden is a stud and she was not going to lose him to the Colts.  She was being proactive.  The scouts and Vrabel can pick up the slack on player evaluations for the draft this year but Cowden is a real financial wizard and AAS wants this team good headed into that stadium.  

 

She knows she has a great HC.  Now she has to get him some players.  I love it.  I bet the comment Vrable made about a "crossroads" about the team was gasoline on the fire.  Now, could JRob have been the one her brought or allowed drinking on plane, possible, but I doubt it.  But if he did that is a fireable offense considering the rules.  Moreover, she would not have to pay him if it is for cause.

And we see that the team paid Henry 14M and can't run the ball against good teams, for whatever reason.   The team's identity is in the shitter.

Add in how she knows the franchise never had an elite WR, and we lose Brown... I can see why she hated the move.
