Sharpe had his period every time a corner touched him. Dez has some wiggle to him but needs to work on his breakaway speed and cleaning up his breaks. On some of these routes, you just wanna see him stick his foot in the dirt and cleanly separate. Instead, he does a bunch of stutter step bullshit. I like him though. He'll probably suck but not for the same reason that Sharpe did. Mythos27, and sunworshipper

Popular Post Frank Andbeans
This guy is a lot better than he is getting credit for here. Louisville was garbage on offense since Lamar Jackson left and they could hardly execute anything beyond screens. The offense went from 430 passes on the year with Lamar to closer to 300 for the next few years. There were factors beyond his control mitigating his production and on a per target/catch basis he was very efficient. He came into the senior bowl and was arguably the best WR there. He had a very good week of practice and had the best game performance of anyone. His competition here was the likes of Nico Collins and Josh Palmer - both guys who had good weeks and went in the 3rd. Fitzpatrick can be a real player - potentially starting caliber. He's got good feet and a big frame. He timed well. I think its a bit telling we moved up and took him over Tylan Wallace who we pretty clearly liked based on contact. He fits our team really well and is a very talented player who didn't get to shine at Louisville. freakingeek, ctm, GLinks, and 5 others

PFF analysts said their heard from players in the conference that he was one of the toughest guys to cover. I'm going to treat this like a height/weight/speed prospect because I've been let down too many times, though I think the trade puts more pressure on Robinson to have delivered a quality player Mythos27

If he can figure out how to get open consistently I think he'll be a good player quickly. I love how natural his hands are, he plucks the ball out of the air in stride like AJ does. Clearly a natural athlete in that way. tgo
titaninpgh
It’s hard to understand why Zierlein gave McMath a higher grade than Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick has a nice release and runs solid routes. He looks like a fairly polished WR. McMath runs like he hasn’t had a receivers coach since high school. rns90, tgo, and abenjami

And the idea that Fitzgerald is only a deep threat is incorrect. He’s proficient on intermediate routes, just had some concentration drops from looking upfield before securing the ball in the intermediate range.
