9 Nines
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Steelers OL coach Mike Munchak is the "early favorite" for the Broncos' head-coaching job. Munchak turned down a second interview with the Cardinals last year, but he appears more serious about the job in Denver, where he reportedly has family. The Broncos still have interviews to conduct including with Bears DC Vic Fangio, so it does not seem like this is close to a done deal. Munchak went 22-26 in three seasons with the Titans earlier this decade.

Titans279
He'll get fied when he refuses to make the staff changes that Elway requires in a year after they struggle with no good QB.
AvgJoe
I think he will actually do better in his 2nd job. But it won’t matter, he will be blamed for everything and Elway’s ineptitude will never be blamed. TNTitans, and Oiler FANatic
TerryBoats
Didn't he hire a poor staff while he was here? That's a trait of HCs which usually doesn't change and leads to their demise.

There is no reason that they shouldn't have been more competitive during the past two seasons. They were 9-7 with Seimian as a first year starter prior to Joseph. He's just really that bad of a coach.

I recall reports saying it was limited networking since Munch only played for and coached for one franchise for his entire time in the NFL. In a related topic, how bad do you think the Steelers will be next year? Before bringing in Munch, their OL was an issue; since, it has been great. Now they will most likely be without Bell and Brown and their replacement RB is recovering from an injury (from the overuse Bell expected?). Whiny Ben may cry about retirement again. titanruss
