I still like him too. We are fortunate to have both backs and I think our RB combo will only get better, as time goes on. I'd still like to see them both in the backfield at the same time for some good ol' west coast action for a couple/few plays a game. Not sure if LeFleur would ever do that though. titanruss, Bluth, pat, and 3 others

Highpockets84
Henry has been the better back the past two games and if you can’t see that then I’m not sure you know football. Lewis has done absolutely nothing on the ground in the past two games. Henry grinded out some tough yards when it mattered most. I like Lewis fine but Henry has been better. Also he interior of the OL is absolute garbage, mainly Ben Jones. TNTitans

Your presence is needed, stat! Thank you for notifying me! You cannot leave this topic to amateurs... There are a few ways to tell if Derrick Henry is done: 1. Is he hanging around guys that look and act like Jalen Ramsey-----then you can bet that he has finished multiple times. 2. Is he speaking rationally with an entirely clear mind and making decisions without a hint of emotional bias? Then, yes, he has just finished within the last 5 minutes. 3. Is he in Jim Irsay's office with a bottle of Oxycontin? Then, yes, he's finishing as we speak. 4. Has he been spotted with Soxcat? Then, yes, simply look for the multiple dried, crusted, white splatters in and around Sox's hair and face for confirmation. These are just a few of the obvious ways to tell if Henry is done.... **Special Note: If he's around women----the answer is an obvious NO because he'd have no interest in starting, much less, being done. Popular Post nine
Pass protection is a valuable attribute in a RB...but the fact is, no team signs or drafts a RB for his blocking ability. Hell, Lewis was absolutely *destroyed* on the game’s first sack yesterday....Telvin Smith ran through him like wet toilet paper. Is anyone calling for Lewis to see fewer reps? The bottom line is, a running back has to be effective with the ball in his hands...and and that effectiveness is very much dependent on his O-line doing their job. Thanks to the injured and struggling O-line, neither RB has been particularly effective running the ball. They’ve had decent chunks here and there...but both are routinely being hit/rerouted in the backfield, and each has converted first downs on only 10% of his carries..which is abysmal. Both guys are running hard, seeing the field well, and fighting for every yard. The numbers are pretty meh, but I have yet to find fault with either guy’s effort or performance. I’m convinced that the running game will explode as soon as the OLine becomes more consistent. ChemEngr79, prometheus, pat, and 6 others
TerryBoats
For you idiots using your eye test, as opposed to facts, to evaluate a player, just stop. You are making yourselves and all of humanity look bad. Henry gained all but 10 yards after contact. He's averaged more YPC the past 2 games than our other RB who has never averaged under 4.4 YPC in a season in his career, and he's been doing it the way that people have been wanting to see- running through people and pushing the pile. That's more or less what he's done during his entire career, despite popular opinion of tards TNTitans
