Newscum will just lose again.
-
Not that we'd want a raging drunk failure of a coach but this franchise's obsession with Texas worries me.

Moon: Titans Have New Uniforms Coming Soon

I have zero nostalgia for the Oilers. The branding for the Oilers is just superior. Clean, timeless logo and a uniform that separates itself from the endless sea of navy blue. Titans branding is somehow bloated while being boring. Idgaf about history’s of the teams. I just want the superior brand. -

Ackshually, the dick in the eye is the continued inconsistencies from all the receivers they keep trotting out there. But that's a dick in everybody's eye. -

Hahaha yes just remove the Titans brand that has been used in the Nashville market you have played in for almost 30 years and the one you'll play in for the foreseeable future. The brand that you have made the Super Bowl and several AFC titles in and have had more success with than the Oilers ever had in their old market. Nostalgia is a funny thing. In small doses it's great to remember the past. People like the old stuff in small doses but if the Titans went with some Oilers inspired look or the Bucs went creamsicle full time, it would get old super fast. In their time, these uniforms were made fun of relentlessly. Now they're cool.....but only in small doses. There will be a day coming in probably 5 to 10 years where people will clamor to see the original McNair era Titans uni as an alternate. People will go crazy for it because people love nostalgia in small doses. -
Scheme diverse. His best position is probably the conventional 4-3 defensive end. We aren't committed to any defense anyway so it wouldn't be a real factor

The Jets play good enough defense that they'll win a game or two somewhere. I'd be surprised if the Titans win another game.

Revive. The word you want is revive not rehabilitate. The other word you want is brand. It’s the brand not the identity. From a business standpoint it’s absolutely retarded to keep the Titans brand. It would be like if RC Cola had the ability to become Coke but refused lol. -

Because if you actually think about it, it's fucking retarded to try and rehabilitate some identity from another city that you played in 30 years ago. Two-tone blue is the way. -

It's perfectly balanced now, navy helmet, light blue jersey, white pants. It's easily their best home look. The real abomination is when they went all navy trying to be some weird Southeastern version of the seahawks while minimizing their most unique color. That was terrible. -

Baseball is arguably just as much of a team sport as football. Maybe even more so since the most consequential player (pitcher) only plays every 4 to 5 games and needs to be subbed out before the 7th inning these days. Yeah, as far as hitters go, I don't foresee anyone overtaking Bonds. If you even consider all the intentional walks he's taken over the course of his prime steroid years, I can see him potentially hitting 100 homers easy in one season. But I think GOAT needs to be divided into power hitting, lead off (Rickey Henderson: not even close), pitching (probably the most hotly contested), fielding for each position, and clutch hitting (maybe?). Anyway, interesting conversation. Ohtani's definitely special but kind of crazy that he didn't move the needle that much in Anaheim (with Trout) and Bonds never won the big one in SF.

Week 8 - Titans vs. Colts Discussion
IsntLifeFunny replied to titanskick8851's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
Regardless of anything, the appeal to authority is unnecessary when all we are saying is it's worth a shot. Hey, if the coaches disagree well whatever, but to act like it's some ridiculous stance is funny. No one is overly concerned about XR getting snaps. Saying we are at a point in the season where fuck it give it a try isn't the same as they're making it out to be. -
We'll see what happens in the future.. TBD. But for now the dick in the eye is both Proche and Kinsey elevated over XR.
-
1) Most desirable to who? 2) Maybe the most lazy.

The longer it goes without him being elevated the more it's going to be a dick in their eye if, when he does get the opportunity, he makes them look like god damn morons for protesting so much. So it's all-in on the doubling down and appealing to authority. The coaching staff that is on their way out is the apron they're condescending from behind. They should just stick to the 40 time. At least the 40 time can't be fired and be revealed to be completely incompetent, even if it turns out to be a faulty indicator. -
Jets or titans?
-
Finish out the season losing. Get the #1 pick. That is the only good that could come from this season.
-
Hope we can beat the Browns tomorrow

Not advocating for him. Just posting the news. He's also got some other warts.
-
He's underachieved at Texas with some of the best resources available to any college program. Fuck that. No thanks.
