Teams intentionally walked him a TON during his peak seasons. His last peak year, his On Base Percentage was .609 and he Walked 232 times out of 617 Plate Appearances. .362 Batting Average with that much power and intentional walks is just mind boggling. The entire league was afraid of that man.
