OILERMAN
PK has been pretty high on Spears in the screen game. Daboll has a history of a good screen game. The past few years without a good OL or down field threat the screen game was more out of desperation. Spears could be a forgotten weapon in the screen game this season SleepingTitan, and oldschool

Now with Daboll and improved weapons outside I’m excited to see how that opens things up on the ground. oldschool, Number9, and OILERMAN 2

More of a side-grade from PFF than a real devolving. And it's funny because you can actually assess a Madden rating because they've rated all sorts of qualities and you can look at them and decide whether or not they're full of shit. It's not just a number and you have to take it or leave it. OILERMAN, and Pragidealist

titanruss
Dike never really showed much in camp last year either. I think he's a game day guy. Spears may have been the best RB in the league last year after the catch. He was breaking tackles at almost double the rate of all the top backs. It's a shame how poorly he's been utilized here and I'm excited for him too. I hope he can finally have his big year. Its the player ratings that are all over the place and annoying yeah when you take out the stats based on their grades it's pretty useful. I think Pffs stat side is now just an automated script based on the leagues stat tracking, maybe the gps data is included in that?

Spears could be a forgotten weapon in the screen game this season I hate to be that guy, but someone who I felt never got a fair shake was dontrell hilliard. He was electric in his short opportunities, ran for over 6 yards a clip and looked great catching the ball. Got an injury was cut and been out of the league since. Okay I just looked into it and I think his neck injury was career ending. That's a shame, but would make sense why he wasn't re signed or picked up anywhere else Starkiller

I know yards after contact is a flawed stat, but he was also passing the eye test. He's a legit weapon in open space and if he stays healthy needs to get at least 60 to 70 targets. 50 receptions and 100 or so carries is about the sweet spot. The only thing is the new RB looks like a legit down field receiving target. I could see him getting quite a few opportunities to catch passes if he performs well in preseason and camp IsntLifeFunny, and Starkiller
begooode
Gotta admit, I still need to move away from team-building mode and lock in on the upcoming Titans season. I need to stop thinking about Spears likely not being here next year and solely focus on his potential contributions THIS year. Same for other players in a similar situation. In other words, I need to learn to stop worrying and love the 2026 season,… Edited August 3 by begooode Supernope, and titanruss 1
