The assumption has been, and might even remain, that Levis gets traded before this season but the draft has passed and I'm now squinting at the possibility he stays around. A new coaching staff might not be quite as dead to him as a prior staff. Getting a fresh start could be helpful.

For him to start at least a game, he'd have to make the roster, be the backup and Cam go down injured (or we can rest our starters because we locked up the #1 seed). There's an above zero chance that all happens.

So, who thinks he sticks and starts at least once?

I hope you took a step back from pumping your super cheap gas before you dropped this fire line.

Come on over to the politics forum and explain the positive outcomes of the war in Iran, as you see them, and what "dealing with Iran" actually means.   I'm going to suggest we don't go any

That was Bush, dummy.

I voted yes on he starts a game because this franchise has a history of fucking up QB injuries including the same shoulder injury Cam has, Levis also had... and Levis also let the team convince him to just rehab it. But apparently the pain was crazy and it really needed surgery. So... I expect Cams shoulder is probably not going to be 100% ever again until surgery.

If it really WAS a grade 3, then no one recovers correctly unless they goin under the knife.

Assuming there’s not a catastrophic injury to a starter on an otherwise contending team i think he sticks here and does at least start one game due to injury. Trubisky isn’t a terrible backup option but they probably feel like they can coach a little more out of Levis and ultimately make him better than Trubisky in the long run. I doubt Hooker sticks around, but of course they never do.
