I hope you took a step back from pumping your super cheap gas before you dropped this fire line.

Come on over to the politics forum and explain the positive outcomes of the war in Iran, as you see them, and what "dealing with Iran" actually means.   I'm going to suggest we don't go any

That was Bush, dummy.

The assumption has been, and might even remain, that Levis gets traded before this season but the draft has passed and I'm now squinting at the possibility he stays around.

Those who assumed Levis would be traded for anything of significant value were dead wrong and it will never happen.

The fact that the Titans moved up to draft Levis and then made him the unquestioned starter to where he is now is one of the biggest drop offs by a QB in memory.

Of course he never should have been drafted that high or made the unquestioned starter

Woke up to see this thread somehow had two pages. A bit baffling until I saw the alternate reality stuff.

Speaking of alternate realities, I originally had "Will Will Levis start..." as the thread title and just couldn't do it.

I couldn't care less about gas prices.  I haven't bought a tank of gas since 2018!

It still effects the price of almost everything you buy.

I will add "during the draft" as a qualifier. Obviously he has no chance of fetching a top draft pick, but depending upon what you mean by significant there is a chance with an injury or two, and with Levis looking recovered, that a desperate team could trade a player or 2027 draft capital. Crazier things have happened, and teams are desperate for QBs as much as I can ever remember. Look at some of the guys being trotted out there as starters, let alone if we have one or two guys get hurt. I'm not holdiing my breath, but I think we can get something for him.

You're right,  he shouldn't have. The unfortunate barrier to that happening was Tannehill and he was just as bad, way more expensive, older, and more boring during a time where ticket sales needed help.

The other barrier was Willis and we all saw that disaster play out here.

But 4 years in and with actual offensive minds and some skill players around, I bet he makes a Willis-ish leap. Hopefully he can show it somehow before we trade him.

Imagine if you had titled it "Levis Levis start a game..."

Levis is a QB who has started games in the NFL for more than a season, they should wait to get maximum value in a trade for him. Teams need to see him in pre season and then we should wait for an injury / desperate team during the season for a trade.

It wasn't Bush. It was Obama. You're remembering the bs from Katrina. The one I'm talking about is the one that disrupted GA, TN, NC and much of the SE. Because of the gouging he created a task force with AG in 2011 to prosecute gouging.
