Downtown
This year proves that all Vrabel needed to do in TN was hire a competent OC. He can thank Kraft and McDaniels for his award. TheBisco, CreepingDeath, OILERMAN, and 1 other
Downtown
Coincidentally, no one will bring up that McDaniels won Assistant Coach of the Year and that Drake Maye narrowly lost MVP. Tex in a Can

If Drake Maye doesn't throw all those picks in playoffs, he probably wins MVP. Bongo59, and titanruss
Grizz
Congrats to Mike Vrabel on his success. Congrats to AJ Brown on his success. Congrats to Kevin Byard on his success. Congrats to Derrick Henry on his Success. I wish them all well. These situations are complex. There's a world were things were built in such a way that we kept Vrabel and things worked out here, but that didn't work out. Nashville (TN in general) feels like a sports town of almosts. Preds got close. Titans got close. 22-23 Grizzlies got close. Hopefully Cam and Coach Saleh break that cycle and get us through. This board in a nutshell. When things go poorly Vrabel is a meathead who doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the wall. When things go well it was everyone else contributing to the success and Vrabel was just in the right place at the right time. Thrill
Mickey Mouse schedule. He’s gonna get stomped in the Super Bowl. He’s a good coach but he pissed and moaned his way out of town and actively positioned himself for the patriots job. He’s a piece of shit and AAS had really no other choice besides letting him be the defacto GM. MadMax, and freakingeek

I am not local anymore so haven't really been able to follow the team (not the biggest soccer guy anyways) but I am rooting for them and hoping for success. Easiest regular season schedule in decades but that doesn't matter as much now as its a one off game with Vrabel having 2 weeks to prepare where he has traditionally been pretty good with extra in season preparation time. Vrabel is going to try and stop the run (the Patriots have the #1 run defense in the league when both Milton Williams and Christian Barmore are available) then try to make sure JSN doesn't beat them. If Vrabel achieves those two things he puts the game in Darnold's hands and whether he can remain calm and patient and not get frustrated and reckless chasing big plays to JSN. The Seahawks are clearly the more talented team but it would be wise not to underestimate Vrabel in a one off game. japan, smokeater, and Thrill
AvgJoe
“How Mike Vrabel Saved the Patriots.” ”Vrabel: Secret Sauce to Patriots Rise” ”Mike Vrabel Brought Me to My Knees: New England is Back” ”Mike Vrabel Cured My Cancer” I think the world needs one more article from his media buddies and girlfriend about how incredible Vrabel is. This is a gross misrepresentation/oversimplification of what people think, but meathead could be very good at game management whilst at the same time being responsible for a number of the less than ideal scenarios he had to manage. Then again, maybe meathead has learned to get out of his own way since his days here? Maybe he's learned that not micromanaging every aspect of everything can be beneficial? I guess we can just keep talking about how the Titans were big dummies who fired a Super Bowl caliber coach whilst omitting (yet again) how he orchestrated his exit. I know that 2nd part is a little more grey than black and white too, but if an admitted anti-Vrabel person like myself can accept that maybe Vrabel has improved on his meathead ways then maybe the Vrabelites can accept he didn't care for them as much as they care for him. You’re like the 3rd or 4th person who has posted this in the last couple of weeks How do people who regularly post on a football message board not know that Vrabel brought McDaniels to NE?
