Titans Offseason Discussion Thread

Burks wasn’t injured in college and Farley had chronic conditions. I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think Tyson is as big an injury concern as some people think.

It's just too risky for me. And I agree about Tyson as a player, but I've seen way too many high draft picks the Titans have made who frequently can't stay healthy to feel good about it.

No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

That’s a lot of hooch

The ACL, collarbone and hamstring were unrelated and not chronic conditions.

That still alot of injuries in a short time period. Some people are just injury prone, look at caleb Farley. Sure the back issue was chronic but it was a whole bunch of different shit that kept happening that ultimately led to him never being healthy.

I have been in the Jaylen Watson camp to get at least 1 player to somewhat anchor this CB room for the next couple of years.

I don't have a personal preference at #4 but I do believe that the likelihood is one of the top 3 "EDGE" guys will be a Titan by around 8:40pm on Thursday the 23rd of April.

How much you think Watson is gonna cost though if he makes it to the market? Most projections I’ve seen have all been below like 14 AAV.  Which would be great but I think they’re gonna give one of these edge guys more than 14 AAV

Hard to tell as his price tag could escalate pretty quickly with so many teams having so much cap room.

I just think one of the top priorities in FA is just getting a foundation at CB to build from and Watson at 28y/o coming off a really good year for the Chiefs could be that guy.

As an overall roster building projection it is important to forecast a couple of years ahead and whether it happens in the next couple of weeks or the end of the 2026 season it is very likely the Sneed/Ridley/Cushenberry/Pollard contracts will be off the books, which leaves a massive amount of headroom to add a couple bigger contracts this offseason.

Why? He's pretty clearly the best WR prospect.

Aside from the injury stuff already pointed out, Tate is a more consistent WR. He didn't drop a pass all year this year. That should be music to any Titan fans ears after what we saw this year.

Happy to have been early on Cooper Jr before he became a draft media darling.

Ya, you got me onto him. Once boston seemed like he was out of reach was around when i saw you mention him and haven't looked back. I also like skyler bell if he is there in the 3rd. Not the best competition but he killed it. Likely a slot in the nfl but lined up everywhere.
