Titans Offseason Discussion Thread

I feel like teams may be looking for a roster dump with him and trying to get him on the cheap. Hopefully they get decent value if they do trade him away.

But I wonder if they might want to at least see him in camp before they move him.

Its simply a waiting game on Sweat just have to wait and see what kind of shape he turns up at the offseason program in mid April.

Would assume that Borgonzi would have a fair idea well before then if Sweat did or didn't train with Simmons this offseason.

No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

That’s a lot of hooch

I see no need to cut Ridley. Sneed on the other hand can go be injured elsewhere.

Im glad more and more Titans fans are coming to their senses about cutting Ridley and unnecessarily creating another hole. It was always the silliest presumption

ive been this way since mid season. But yeah, it's pointless to cut him. Too many tits fans just want to cut anyone underperforming

I’d say 2-3, two to start and one depth one.

I’d say Watson/Woolen/Taylor , one of those and another mid tier one.  That guy can even be a vet , depending on when they want to address CB in the draft.

Ridley was injured and  played in just 7 games.  In addition he only caught 17 of 36 passes (47%). I remember several drops.   He's not worth paying 22M in real dollars.

Kevin byard and Henry and AJ and 60 other guys were underperforming and not worth it.

You get stability and supporting talent and all of a sudden these underperforming players look great again. We bash Callahan and blame everything on him but then ignore that when you talk about player performance.

doesn't make sense.

And you'll spend 20m trying to find someone to replicate him

Or you will draft someone who can stay healthy and won't drop the ball.  Bottom line... he's not worth his contact at this point.

But if you do want to spend the 20M, then give me R Shaheen over Ridley all day long
