Titans Offseason Discussion Thread

From what I saw, Jeff told him the off-season workout regiment was mandatory lol.

Did you ever watch that video that Saleh went over his type or tiers of players that he likes to group them in?

I get the feeling that Sweat would be in the “just get by” group.

No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

That’s a lot of hooch

Sweat may never develop into a top tier pass rusher in terms of closing on the actual sack but I think he can be one of the top tier pass "disrupters"  always hurrying things up and collapsing/cutting the pocket in half.  That's on top of being a great run defender.  Hopefully big Jeff and the boys (and most importantly himself) can keep consistently motivated.

One thing is for sure: if Sweat isn’t looking motivated this offseason his ass will be on his way to some other NFL town. They might decide to make him into an object lesson.

The GM/HC/DC that drafted Sweat are no longer here and according to PK this current front office haven't been big fans of Sweat's dedication to preparation.

When you throw in the question marks about Sweat's fit in a typical Saleh defense he wouldn't want to test Borgonzi's patience any further.

I will never understand that pick, even before we found out he turned down a future 2nd and a 5th to move back like 20 spots.

Its just to easy to find a solid nose tackle in round 5-7, hell we have picked up a few udfa ones over the years. You have to be so good as a NT to be worth a top 40 pick its just not a good idea.

Going into the season and before Charbonnet’s knee injury I figured they would likely let Walker go. Now I assume they will re-sign him to keep a contender together.

I'd prefer Breece Hall anyway. I just wonder if Saleh feels the same way. He did have a front row seat.
