The team building has put them in a position to get by regardless of what they do in the draft but help for the front seven and line seems like the value and the need. The team already has two developmental young players in Dike and Ayomanor. Ridley and Robinson will need to see the field. Love helps the passing game. I could absolutely see a draft where WR is not super addressed with attention to the fact that next year's draft looks stacked in this area. The reality is the offense is still going to be a work in progress that's missing some pieces. Hopefully they will improve next season, but I highly doubt we're going to go from one of the worst offenses in the league to top 5 overnight. This FA WR class wasn't that good and this draft class at WR has depth but lacks at the top end. I hate the "wait till next year" thing but it does project to be a much better FA and draft class than this year. Hopefully they can find WR1 then. Saleh talked about giving Cam more easy wins on offense. Running the ball (Love) and slot WR (Robinson) are remedies for that. Hopefully Helm takes a big step forward in year 2 to give Cam another safety blanket. titansfan
Next year's group outside of Smith is Coleman, Marsh, Wingo, Wesco, maybe even Mario Craver... Coleman would be WR1 in pretty much every draft of the last 15 years except for 2027, 2024, and 2021. Everyone else in that list would be in contention to be WR1 or 2 in this draft. Popular Post OILERMAN
The Ridley restructure helps both parties, Ridley wouldn't get as much as what the restructure is on the open market and the WR market is pretty bare and not a big upgrade compared to Ridley and what they already have invested in him. He could be a huge asset with the restructure, familiarity with Daboll, hopeful recovery from injury..

I actually don't expect a lot from him. If he plays and does well then it will be a nice surprise. He's vet insurance. I hope Dike, Ayomanor and/or whoever they draft pass him up They really need two types of WR: another big play deep threat and a reliable move the chains guy that can get them 10+ yards on 3rd and 9 (an outside X). It’s just a group that needs more . I wouldn’t be surprised though if they went LOS players with two out of the first three picks though based on drafting history KogaShuko
