There's players there he can speak on that are good player and could be useful additions

Quay Walker - LB

Sean Rhyan - C/G

Nick Newman -ST / LB

Rasheed Walker - LT

Kingsley Enagbare - DE

No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

That’s a lot of hooch

I think Saleh will turn Harell and Femi into solid players next yr.  Ward or Jones comes back the DL becomes a big time strength.

Borg said he wanted to fix the DL this offseason. There's lot of options on the table and this hire certainly helps.

I’m not sure if Pitts is the type of TE Selah will want

I’m not sure Borganzi will care. It’s a shallow WR free agency. He may rather give that money to Pitt than to Chig. To be clear, he flashed only in his first year where he crossed 1000 yards, and this year, where he went 88/928/5. In the middle, he’s very Chig Okonkwo.

So, the better question, to me, is Chig Okonkwo the kind of TE Robert Saleh wants?

I think they can add a stronger blocking TE like Eli Raridon from Notre Dame on day 3 to upgrade the DMR spot.

I also don’t think Borgonzi should defer to Saleh like all that. He should gain his buy in, but not give him roster control

The field is pretty small to upgrade Cam’s receiving options in FA this offseason:  Alec Pierce, Jauan Jennings, Romeo Doubs and Rasheed Shaheed seem like the best of a weak group, and some of them may not even get to free agency.

Eh, there’s probably a decent chance Jennings is a Titan. NWI 2.0.

Chig isn’t a starting quality TE. They need to sign someone in free agency who can start with Helm as #2.

Borgonzi isn’t going to defer to Saleh (or his OC) on players but he’s going to go after the types of guys they want. If they want a purely receiving TE then Pitts might be an option. If they want a TE who can block and also be a receiving threat then Pitts is out.

why don't you think chig is starter quality? Purely on blocking?

Likely from Baltimore is where I’d go, fast and explosive and decent blocker and way more upside than Pitts, who I think has already reached his ceiling.

Daniel Jeremiah on 40s and Free Agents today taking a very contrarian view to many here and he believes Borgonzi should follow the Bears lead and build around Ward first before fixing the defense.

Jeremiah also thinks Ridley is likely done in Nashville.

Titans bit starts just after the 20 minute mark.

They’ll have 140M in cap space and plenty of draft picks - they can do both.
