Nash
According to Blaine Bishop, Winston Jr will be playing a role similar to Earl Thomas in the new defensive scheme japan

They should try to bring him back if the price is right. We already have our 2 safeties

The good news is that it’s generally easier to add guys who can play zone because good man coverage corners are tough to find. They need CB even just from a number perspective. Winston and Hooker will be the top two S, unless they plan to use Winston in the nickel defense looks. Winston would be more the Cam Chancelor in that comparison and Hooker is the deep center fielder type. Does make me wonder if Borgonzi might be a bit more aggressive in FA than might of been expected as this regime knows and Borgonzi even touched on it there simply has to be a significant uptick in wins next season. Seems like the investment is going into the staff to get the most out of the draft and value FA

Ya, he was pretty meh in coverage, though he was mostly abused once every cb on the roster was hurt or traded and he was out there playing NB and I think even some as an outside corner which isn't completely fsir to him.
