cenj Posted February 4 Report Share Posted February 4 Yeah, no way Winston Jr. is playing a roaming FS. He's way closer to Kam. Chancellor than Earl Thomas in play style, though smaller and faster. Neither player is a great comp though. We'll see, but Winston to me absolutely seems like a starting S in a cover 3 scheme that is used like a chess piece. He's athletic and rangy enough to play deep zone while also being a weapon roaming close to the LOS. Hooker also has the ability to do both, so I think we have some decent pieces to start with. How soon before Freeze realizes Dylan Parham was Dave Zeigler's first ever draft pick with the Raiders and no doubt with input from Bricillo who was the OL coach at the time.
