Honestly franchise QBs should be coached to not take those kinds of hits unless it’s an actually important game and situation. I do blame coaches for the call and then if they hadn’t been drilling the need to avoid these kinds of hits even at the goal line , and blame Cam if he was coached to not do this and did it anyway.
