Head Coach Candidates 2026 Edition

Bringing Stefanski and Schwarz in is so intriguing to me. Guy got a really raw deal in Cleveland with the QB situation and QB malpractice on the part of an abysmal GM responsible for the worst singular trade in the history of any sport. Bringing JS home would be a feel good move. Local Browns people don't want to move on from him because of the personnel investment his defense requires--would we have the personnel?

I am also reading the stuff about Kingsbury being selective and what might work in our favor (low market, low pressure) and against (lack of exposure, dysfunctional ownership). Don't think it will be him based on this.

Nagy makes sense. He's got the ties, pedigree, and was a missed field goal debacle away from winning a playoff game with Mitch Trubisky.

There are defensive guys I like.

Harbaugh man. I get he is a good coach.

The idea of trying to get behind and like a Harbaugh makes me want to puke. I also don't think the Ravens are going to move on from him over one bad season. Seems crazy. Grass is not always greener. Monken intrigues me despite the lack of success this season.

It is becoming really annoying how some people are using bad result as an excuse to paint the last HC hiring process as a sham. Facts are Callahan was an in demand candidate during that hiring cycle e

Callahan was a great "candidate" and a terrible head coach.

This is being under looked.  Bowles and McDonald are two defensive HC but their offenses are top 10.

I wouldn’t totally rule those guys out.

Schwartz… the Chargers guy seems interesting but I don’t think he’s likely

Yeah the buzz on Minter is strong. JS is an intriguing name but I don't think he's really getting HC looks. More likely he comes with Stefanski based on what CLE does--which I would not hate at all.

If you’re looking at everything including age of said HC, Stefanski is probably the top guy if he gets fired in CLE.
