If we lose to the browns without even playing them on sunday they need to fire everyone.

You know how every year there are a couple of games that 50-60% of the people are eliminated in survivor pools because everyone picks the supposed lock?    Just sayn

Not rooting for it, of course, but how wild would it be if Cam threw 4 INTs, lost the game - and then the media ran with it... "Gunslinger Cam goes down in flames!" "Clearly Ward was not worth the 1st pick!" "Titans are doomed!" etc. etc., but then he lights it up the rest of the year and they sneak into the playoffs. 😝

imagine equating a 4TD performance for Ward on Sunday to Mariota's first game and that being a bad thing... insane thought process.

I was surprised at by Mariota & Levis debuts. If Cam did that, it really wouldn’t move the needle on my belief that he’s a FQB.

I was saying this jokingly. But it is a wild fact that the last two Titans QBs that the team had high hope to become franchise QB but went bust threw for 4 TDs in their debut start. I'm going to take it with a grain of salt how Cam performs in his first start.

Not just Mariota. Levis threw 4 in his first start too. Same principle, but not so much insane as it is superstitious.

Not that matters. Ward is going to tie or break Peyton's single game TD record Sunday.

Ward has already shown that he can do much more that isn't scheme-dependant.  Throwing with anticipation, throwing receivers open, managing the pocket under pressure, improvising and throwing on the run - he's so much better than they ever were.  Maybe it won't happen in the first game, but the numbers will come.
