That Mariota game was mostly scheme. he wasn’t sitting in the pocket, gliding, reading and dicing up the defense on his second and third read… He didn’t do anything wrong…but he was hitting his schemed first reads, etc. nice throws however. still, as the rest of his career proved out, mariota works when he can hit his first read or scramble…otherwise, “back up” material. that’s not an opinion at this point. it’s history. I don't care what Mariota, or Levis, or Locker, or Young, or any other mental midget has done before: Cam Ward is the real deal and I'm here for the ride. I expect a dog fight in Denver and I want to win. I won't cry in a puddle and threaten to abandon my fandom if we lose (like happens every year around here), but Denver has not shown me they are some unbeatable juggernaut.
