This was 100% the best case scenario for the Titans. The injury was inevitable. It's best to get it out of the way early in camp so he doesn't continue to take reps away from the younger guys who actu

I want you to go count out 14 weeks on a calendar lol

Bad scouting.  And fragile body.  When he got here, his problem was not being able to make the type cuts a WR needs in the NFL.  Injury.  He was big and able to make plays in college.  Against tougher competition that effort level did not work.  He had to step his game which put him playing at a level he was not used to playing.  He's got heart and gets hurt trying to do what it takes in the league.  He's then playing above his effort level, trying too hard.  That Pittsburg injury was kinda that, sideline, tough catch, if you haven't been doing that it's not easy to be skilled at landing properly.  Add coming to camp, overweight and out of shape.  He just wasn't first round talent.

I hate it for him. Some players just can't stay healthy and he's one of them. He's gifted but you have to be on the field to put it to good use.

Maybe it takes 6-12 weeks for a collarbone to 'heal' for a guy who works behind a computer...

Thats what i was thinking. Even if it only takes 6 weeks for a normal person to feel ok, how kong for it to be fully back to how it was to take the kinda punishment its expected to.

though i guess in burks case back to as good as new also means still brittle so maybe it wont take that long.

I know everyone is pretty much over Burks but I feel for the guy. I'd be depressed as fuck if I was in his shoes. We have a storied history of injury prone receivers so to be the most injury prone of them all is really saying something.
