Option 3 no one is talking about: they plan on drafting one of the 2nd tier QBs (Howard, McCord, Ewers, Dart, etc). But, I would've thought that option would require bringing in a legit veteran starter. They (to my knowledge) haven't shown any serious consideration of the available vets. Fine as a warm body at the position but even as a backup he's not really going to come in and maybe win you a game. Maybe he's a smart vet presence in the room for Ward though.
