lol dang.    I have always liked Baker. Pretty impressive for Ran to get Jones for a 6th rounder and turn him into a 4th AND Baker

This trade shows they clearly thought they had a chance to be competitive and now reality has slapped them in the face

See that's just smart fucking business.

He’s played ok but it’s a replaceable position.  And he a FA who wants a big extension afterwards.

I was about to post this. Jones hasn't stood out in the 6 games I've watched. seems like an okay middle tier guy but not something to build around, especially since he wants a long term deal.

Some of the values are off.  Chig for a 4th or 5th seems highly doubtful.

Landry gets more than a second, I’d guess .  Something like a 2nd and maybe a 5th.

I’m also disappointed you weren’t able to work in a Burks joke.

Yeah I’m probably overrating Chig, but I think he’s still got a lot of juice. He looked solid in Downing’s offense his rookie year. Not sure if his drop off has been because of scheme, effort, or opponents scouting.

Just stupid narratives.... Its silly. Even if you look at Brinker's job function, its not personnel lol. But we have to pretend he's the real GM because some don't like the way Carthon talked during the Vrabel was fired presser.

Dude you were wrong on this in the offseason and you're wrong on it now.

He’s really tough to figure out.   Had the drops last year but he was better the second half.  Almost every offensive skill pass catcher gets a pass because of Levis this year.

It wouldn’t shock me if he went to some offensive minded team and just broke out.

nope. You are parsing a PD that doesn't even remotely state what you claim it does. I'm sure Brinker is involved at a high level but your continued to attempts to place him above Carthon are misplaced.

They may not even have to trade up. if you look at schedules, who is worse with Levis starting? I think the #1 pick is def in play.

In play, sure.  But CAR probably has the inside track and it's a coinflip with NE based on the result of the matchup next weekend (NE probably trades out to a QB needy team)

We know the reasons behind this logic.

Ran was a "DEI Hire" mandated by the league!
